Since 1997, Glenn Hakey (The Body Mechanic) CMT, NCTMB and CEO of “Peak Performance LLC” has dedicated himself to solving common and complicated pain conditions safely and effectively.Glenn is science minded and an avid researcher of neurophysiology,cellular biology and the physical sciences. He grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and needless to say, hockey was a big part of growing up. He came to the states in 1982 and in 1994 met his wife Carol in Virginia. In this case,  " Virginia is for lovers" proved true. Carol, a massage therapist, tweaked Glenn's interest in studying neuromuscular therapy. This led to further study in orthopedic massage, sports medicine, dance kinesiology and biophysics. With a solid background of functional anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, his research has led to uncovering truths about how different body types (somatotyping) respond to different types of adversity. With a gifting of investigative techniques and a keen analytical mind, he has developed a means to understand the pathology involved with orthopedic and sports injuries and which modalities are most effective for each  body type. Kinesio-Massage has been the catalyst for the tremendous growth of “Peak Performance”. The results are outstanding.
